About us

'Fundación Turismo Palma de Mallorca 365' has been established as a non-profit making foundation in the area of tourism and external promotion.

The Foundation's aim is to promote and encourage tourism in the city of Palma de Mallorca and, where appropriate, the island of Majorca and, on this basis, carry out the following activities, amongst others:

- Showcase the tourism, cultural and heritage resources, both public and private, of the city of Palma de Mallorca, as well as Majorca's other municipalities.
- Promote the active presence of Palma de Mallorca as a destination in the tourism market and, where appropriate, Majorca's other municipalities, by carrying out joint promotions.
- Improve the destination's tourist offer through the creation, development and promotion of innovative and distinctive tourist products.
- Organise familiarisation trips and promotional activities, at local, national and international levels.
- Facilitate participation and collaboration by all of the city of Palma de Mallorca's economic sectors and public services in managing tourism and external promotion.
- Develop, produce, publish, disseminate and operate the necessary promotional, advertising and image materials to publicise the resources, goods and tourist services that the destination offers, and to help attract visitors.
- Promote activities aimed at increasing the city's tourist and commercial demand.
- Ensure that the cultural, architectural and natural heritage, as well as the identity and traditions of the city of Palma de Mallorca, form key elements of the diversification of the tourism offer, so that this cultural uniqueness becomes another tool for overcoming seasonality and attracting tourists all year round.
- Plan, manage and promote tourism development, as well as managing public tourism resources when it is required for these purposes and is in the public interest.
- Plan, manage, promote and perform any activities that might help improve the quality of the destination's tourism offer.
- Manage and promote innovation and continuous improvement of the quality of the destination's tourism and non-tourism services, both public and private, as well as sustainable development.
- Coordinate and harmonise public and private initiatives relating to tourism, on condition that they are in line with the established tourism policies.
- Act, when required, as an interlocutor with the various public administrations and private bodies regarding tourist issues and in all crosscutting matters that affect it.
- Raise any needs and suggestions considered of interest for contributing to the improvement of tourism planning in the destination before the authorities and competent bodies.
- Promote and produce analyses and studies to help understand the situation of tourism in the destination, offering the information obtained to all interested parties.
- Promote and provide training designed to improve the professional qualifications of workers in the tourist industry.
- Promote and participate in, if appropriate, agreements and arrangements with other bodies to carry out activities to promote the city of Palma de Mallorca, as well as with the island's other municipalities.
- Unify and channel an integrated communications strategy for the destination towards residents and visitors, where all sectors are represented.
- Support the development of tourism infrastructure of the complementary services.
- Promote the city of Palma de Mallorca and, where appropriate, the island of Mallorca, as a specialised location for hosting conferences, fairs, conventions, symposia, seminars or incentive trips, as well as the existing infrastructure dedicated to business tourism.
- Promote of the city of Palma de Mallorca as a destination in the tourist cruise market and, consequently, the development of cruise ship traffic, and promote and develop nautical tourism.
- Offer an advisory service to all operators in the tourist industry.
- Create, obtain and administer resources for improved development of the Foundation.

The Fundación Turismo Palma de Mallorca 365 is a joint body, comprising, in its public part, Palma City Council and the Balearic Port Authority. These two bodies comprise 51% of the Foundation.
